1. Explain in 2 sentences each of the following:
Mental health
Liquid diet
Night blindness
Dehydration
Leaflet
What signs and symptoms would you advise a community volunteer to look for inorder to differentiate between Kwashiorkor and Marasmus?
Think of a message on "Iron deficiency anemia in adolescence" suitable for a poster. Give an illustration of the poster.
2. Discuss the meaning and principles of participatory learning. Highlight the firm beliefs underlying the use of this approach
for nutrition and health education.
Describe the principles behind the child to child strategy for nutrition education and communication. Discuss the role of community workers in implementing child to child strategy.
3. Select key themes on "Nutrition during Infancy" relevant to your community. Explain the ways in which you can convey the information to mothers of infants.
Give some reasons for why it is important to work with other agencies in the community?
4. Explain briefly the following communication methods used in nutrition and health education:
