2. Describe the thermal insulation of roofs and exposed walls. Explain the properties of insulation materials. 10
3. What do you understand by prefabrication Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of prefabricated structures. 10
4. Discuss concrete failure and steel failure, with an emphasis on tall buildings. Also give the remedial measures. 10
5. Differentiate between stairs, elevators and escalators. Also provide neat sketches to support your answer. 10
6. What are the standard requirements for water supply and sewage disposal in buildings Discuss in detail 10
