1. Answer the following (each answer should be in approximately 100 words): (Marks 2×10=20)
a. Distinguish between Human smuggling and Human Trafficking.
b. What do you understand by the term "Extra ordinary Rendition"?
c. Differentiate between Jihad and terrorism.
d. What do you understand by the concept Interpol?
e. Write short note on disorganized crime.
f. What do you understand by the term international crime?
g. Discuss the object of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized
crime.
h. Explain the term "Extradition".
i. Discuss the jurisdiction of International Crime Court.
j. What do you understand by transnational crime?
2. Discuss the criteria for group classification which are protected under the definition of crime
of genocide. And also discuss the material element and mental element of genocide.

3. Discuss the role of research centers in curbing the menace of Transnational Crime.

4. "International Criminal Court challenges the exclusivity of sovereign states and imposes
certain restrictions and limits on state authority." Critically examine this statement.

5. Transnational crimes are becoming menacing day by day as more women are indulging
themselves in such crimes. Discuss the factors which are responsible for active participation
of women in such crimes. (Marks 10)
6. The entire world community has accepted that terrorism is an international concern yet this
offence has not been included in the categories of offences in ICC statute. In the light of this
statement discuss the reasons why terrorism is not included in the ICC statute. Also discuss
whether definition of terrorism can be fitted under other definition of crimes mentioned in
Rome Statute. (Marks 10)
7. Although crimes against humanity are core part of the Rome Statute, there appears to be a
lack of conceptual consensus on what makes a crime against humanity as opposed to a
common offense under domestic law. Discuss. (Marks 10)
