A language teaching programme should concern itself basically with the development of ability to communicate among the learners. As a language teacher how would you contribute to the effective development of ability to communicate among your students
"Readiness is a stage where children are mature enough to be ready to learn something without intellectual or emotional stress". In the light of this statement discuss the specific competencies that will prepare children for the smooth learning of the skills of reading at different stages of the reading process.
What do you understand by intensive and extensive reading? Discuss with examples the procedure that you would adopt to facilitate both types of reading in children.
Explain with examples how different language skills are interlinked.
What points would you keep in mind in order to remove the writing errors of your students?

4. Audio-visual aids help in communication, retention and providing more information in less time. Take any three such aids and show how each one of them contributes towards communication, retention and providing more information in less time in the transaction of a language lesson in Class V.
