1. Differentiate between 'Myopia' and 'Hypermetropia'.

2. What are the factors that affect adjustment of persons with visual impairment?

3. Explain briefly "Visual acuity" and "Visual field".

4. How can you identify learning difficulties in children with visual impairment

5. Write the impact of blindness on fine -motor development.

Attempt any four questions from Part -B. Question no. 11 is compulsory. Each question carries 15 marks.

6. Enumerate the functions of each part of human eye in line with the process of seeing.

7. Explain the subjective effects of visual impairment. Discuss the myths about persons with visual impairment and sortout the facts related to these myths.

8. Describe the general clinical assessment services to children with visual impairment. Why should teachers know the interpretation of clinical assessment reports for educational purposes?

9. What are the characteristics of visually impaired children having mental retardation? How will you plan for the education of these children

10. Narrate the role of other senses to compensate the loss of vision.

11. What is functional vision? Describe various activities to promote visual efficiency of low vision children.
