1. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
Comment on the following:
Examinations hamper learning. Students will learn better if there are no examinations/ evaluation.
OR
Describe the measures that you would take so that continuous comprehensive internal evaluation of the students you teach is reliable, valid and fair.
2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
What are Self-reporting techniques of evaluation? Briefly explain each and mention how they should be interpreted so as to give true picture.
OR
Distinguish between 'facility value' and 'discriminatory index' of an item. Illustrate your answer.
3. Answer any four of the following in about 150 words each:
Mention the nature of data in which Median is the suitable measure of central tendency as against the Mean. Give an example.
How do you calculate and interpret percentile? Give an example.
Justify the statement-Normal Distribution is the most used distribution for drawing inferences from statistical data.
Write down the taxonomic classification of instructional objectives, briefly explaining each.
Compare the relative functions of summative and 'formative' evaluation.
Briefly compare the value of 'essay type' and 'objective type' questions from the point of view of good learning.
