a. What do you understand by Media? Discuss its types along with importance of free speech and expression. (Marks
b. Discuss the 'four theories of the press' as originated by Siebert, Peterson and Schramm with Propaganda Model. (Marks

Write an explanatory note on the history of the freedom of media/press in Indian context that has been tales of constant struggle and progressive achievements under the alien government with reference to the relevant regulations and enactments, and also discuss in brief the scenario after independence. (Marks 10)
3. John Milton observed in Areopagitica that, "Give me the liberty to know, to utter, and to argue freely according to conscience, above all liberties." In this context discuss the Constitutional framework of freedom of Speech and expression in Indian scenario with its various facets as observed by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. (Marks 10)
