Note: Answer any TWO questions out of three. All questions carry equal marks.
1. A series of Microsoft Power-point presentations on conditions of prostitutes in India
containing literature describing their work culture, client-interactions and images on their lifestyle
were shared by Mr. Knowledgeable, a sociology professor to his first year students through
Google Groups for educational purpose. Kanksh, one of the students found such slides to be
containing text as well as visuals which are obscene in nature and would deprave and corrupt the
minds of such students considering some of them are below 18 years old and therefore legally not
adults. Kanksha filled a case against Professor Knowledgeable under Section 67 and 67A of the
Information Technology Act. Decide the case relying on the provisions of the Information
Technology Act and the standards of obscenity as prevalent in India. (Marks 07)

2. Aveek is a human recourse manager in Aloo-Potato Architecture Company and his job is
solely to approve leaves of other employees in the said company. During his period of
employment, he had a login password and user ID to gain access to computer network limited to
Aloo-Potato Architecture Company's employees only. Through this Login, an employee would
access data in any computer within Aloo-Potato Architecture Company's computer network.
Aveek gained access to confidential information, drawings and design plans of Aloo-Potato
Architecture Company through the employee access ID saved in a file named "Confidential
Information" and saved copies of architectural designs. Later, Aveek sold these designs to rival
companies at exorbitant rates.
Identify what kind of computer network it was.
If Company decides to file a case against Aveek, which forum should the company
approach under the Information Technology Act?
Also, advise the company on the provisions of the Information Technology Act that can
