1. Discuss the following:
a. Write an explanatory note on the 'theories related with Media.' (Marks 05)
b. Write a descriptive note on the Importance of Media along-with the meaning of 'freedom of Speech and expression.' (Marks 05)
2. Discuss the following:
a. Write an analytical note on the 'effect theories related with Media.' (Marks 05)
b. In the case of F.A. Picture International v. Central Board of film Certification, it was observed by the Bombay High Court that, "stability in society can only be promoted by introspection into social reality, however grim it may be."
In the light of abovementioned observation, discuss the 'right to portray social evils'.

c. In the case of S. Khushboo v. Kanniammal, the Supreme Court of India expressed "the need for tolerance even for unpopular view."
In this background write an analytical note on the 'right to dissent'. (Marks 2.5)
3. Discuss the historical background with respect to the freedom of the Press in India and the existence of law/regulation prior to the commencement of the Constitution of India. (Marks 10)
