iii). You wish to visit Kashmir, along with your friends in Summer. Construct the text of your conversation with the travel agent.
iv). A discussion between two friends about a good movie that they have watched recently.
35. i). Construct the text of a group discussion among four participants on the problem of value erosion among the youth and the solutions.
ii). Read the short lecture below and prepare notes:
The journey of chocolate begins with the cacao or cocoa tree (Theobroma cacao) which grows twenty degree north and south of the equator and thrives in hot temperatures, rain and shade. Cocoa pods turn a vibrant yellow when they are ripe. After being chopped off, the pods are opened to remove the seeds each of which is about the size of an olive, surrounded by a white pulp. In Latin

American countries, this pulp called baba has been used to make delicious wine. The cocoa beans are usually cleaned manually and exposed to light. On exposure to light, they turn purple, ready for fermentation for which either the heap method or the cascading box method would be used. In both these methods, the cocoa beans are covered with banana leaves for about 9 days for fermentation during which they begin to take on the colour and flavour of what we recognize as chocolate.
