Draw a diagram showing Line of Tightness and Line of Stretchiness on a hide.
2. Write the different types of tools used in Cutting department. State their functions.
3. What do you understand by "Health and Safety at Workshop"
Mention the types of animals whose leather and hides are commonly used in bag making.
4. What is Leather Grading Describe five defects found in a finished leather.
5. Explain different properties of leather. Also explain different types of leathers commonly used for leather goods production.
6. Describe the different random tests which are required during the selection of good quality finish leather.
7. Differentiate between the following terms:
Synthetic cutting process and Leather cutting process
Oil pull-up leather and Burnish leather
