1. Define and explain sex and gender in relation to the sex/gender binary. What is your understanding of sex and gender in relation to the body?
2. "British colonialism should be understood as the employment of masculine power over the feminine." Discuss.
3. Discuss theoretical formulations of class and gender. Give examples to explain the relationship between the two.
4. Write an essay on 'Women and Nationalism'.
5. Explain Black Feminism.
Describe the nature of feminisms in third world countries.
6. Discuss marriage and family as institutions from a feminist perspective.
7. Discuss how exclusion of women's work from mainstream definitions of work affect women in India Give examples to explain your argument.
