Job Description: a. Provide technical support on nutrition and day to day management of the CoE. b. Coordinate with Odisha State Food Commission, government departments and UNICEF for implementation of activity plan, finalization of all reports/documents and sharing it on public domain. c. Coordinate all the project operational activities, including HR (coordinate field visits, supervise field visit of Research Fellow, coordinating for workshops and meetings etc). d. Undertake necessary field visits with the State Food Commission for conducting district level review meetings, spot checking and audit of food security related programmes/schemes. e. Obtain necessary approvals from relevant authorities before undertaking any new assessments, documentation and field monitoring initiative. f. Take weekly updates and line management of CoE team. g. Lead the analysis of reports based on regular monitoring and assessments. Guiding project staffs in data analysis, report writing and presentation. h. Strategic engagement with key stakeholders for better visibility of the CoE. i. Attend and facilitate state and district level review meetings, share the field findings for ensuring corrective actions. j. Ensure timely submission of quarterly progress reports and other documents based on progress against plan. k. Manage financial reporting against approved budget. l. Good understanding of various data sources like Census, NSSO, NFHS, DLHS, DISE etc. m. Good English writing and presentation skills. n. Preparing policy-oriented manuscripts for publication. o. Understanding of issues related to MDGs and SDGs. p. Provide regular feedback of activities to the project-coordinator.
