1 Define Development. Critically examine the contemporary paradigms of development.
OR
What is poverty? Discuss different perspectives of poverty.
2. What do you understand by models of social policy Critically discuss these different models relating them to the Indian context.
OR
Critically examine the underlying beliefs of dominant political ideologies.
3. What do you understand by inclusive growth and how did the eleventh five year plan affirm it? Compare and contrast it with the previous plans vis-a-vis the goal of participatory development.
OR
Analyse the fourth to seventh five year plans, from the view point of participatory development.
4. What is corporate social responsibility? Explain with examples how corporates are playing a vital role in development.

Critically review the state-initiated programmes in relation to Natural Resource Management.
