1. Evaluate the contributions of Descartes and John Locke to Epistemology.
OR
What is Explain (testimony) as a valid source of knowledge.
2. How is knowledge defined as justified true belief? Critically analyse.
OR
Explain the nature and possibility of knowledge as in Foundationalism and Coherentism.
3. Answer any two of the following in about 200 words each
Is Upamana (analogy) a valid source of knowledge? Explain. Discuss the role of subject-object relationship in obtaining knowledge.
Distinguish between Nominalism (Universals as mere names) and conceptualism (Universals existing only in mind) Elaborate theory of erroneous perception (Khyativada).
4. Answer any four of the following in about 150 words each What is certitude of knowledge?
How do you understand 'hermeneutics' in understanding the world Differentiate Rationalism from Empiricism.
