1. Derive the differential form of Maxwell's equation.

Explain the propagation of electromagnetic waves
in free space. Show that the energy flux is velocity
of light times the energy density.
2. Obtain the boundary conditions at the surface of
two dielectric media.
Discuss the Brewster's law and degree of
polarization.
Elaborate the total internal reflection. Prove that

medium is zero.
3. Distinguish Normal and Anomalous dispersion.
