1. Explain the working of transformer coupled Audio
power amplifier, with a neat sketch and get an
expression for its efficiency and gain.
Describe the working of class power amplifier
with a circuit and find an expression for the
efficiency of the amplifier.
Write a note on transistor biasing.
2. What are FET parameters? Obtain the relation
connecting them.
Describe an experiment to draw the FET
characteristic curves. Show how FET parameters
could be determined from this.
Draw the circuit diagram of an Inverting and
Non-inverting amplifier and explain its operation.
Derive an expression for its voltage gain.

3. What are active filters? Explain low pass filter and
high pass filter with a suitable diagram.
Draw the OP-AMP circuit of a current to voltage
converter. Explain its operation. Mention its uses.(8)
Mention few applications of a counter.
