1. What do you mean by the term 'false indication' and 'deceptive indication'? Illustrate with suitable example. (Marks 05)
What do you mean by the term 'indication of source'? Discuss with the help of suitable examples. And also differentiate 'indication of source' with 'trademark'. (Marks 05)
2. Discuss whether the following could be protected under the regime of Lisbon agreements, 1958 and TRIPS. (Marks
the product of Goa.
ii) "Tajmahal" for the tea product of any region of India.
iii) 'Bikaneri Bhujia'.

3. What do you mean by the term 'geographical indication' as it is given under the TRIPS agreements? Whether this term (geographical indication) is equivalent to 'appellations of origin'? Critically analyze with suitable example. (Marks
Turisam is a country who is party to WTO agreements, in that country is a region which is very famous for leather work, this work is protected as GI by the indication 'syan leather'. There is another country Indiyana who is also a WTO member wherein one person who is citizen of 'indiyana' is a registered user of trademark in the category of leather work. Now in this situation decide the rights of proprieter of GI 'syan leather' of country Turisam and the right of trademark owner in the country of Indiyana according to the principle of TRIPS agreements.
