Rules, 2000
b. Explain definition of " Environmental Pollutant " under the Environment Protection Act, 1986.
c. Explain the Polluter Pays Principles of Environmental Law.
d. Explain the nature of Environmental Law.
e. Explain the Environmental Protection in ancient Indian tradition and culture.
f. Explain the meaning of Sustainable Development according to Bruntland Commission.
g. Explain the objectives of Rio Conference 1992.
h. Explain the concept of environmental Torts.
i. What do you mean by the Reserve Forests under the Indian Forest Act, 1927?
j. Definition of 'Hunting' under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.

a. Impact of United Nation Conference on Human Environment, 1972.
b. The Post Kyoto Negotiations and the major outcomes of Johannesburg Declaration.
3. Critically examine the following:- (Marks
a. The Implication of Art. 253 of Indian Constitution in the light of development of
Environmental Protection Laws in India.
b. Effectiveness of Public Trust Doctrine in the light of decided cases of Supreme Court
of India
4. Discuss the law as provided under The Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act,
1974, for grant or refusal of consent by the State Board to establish or operate an industry.
What is remedy available to a person who is aggrieved by such order by board? Is there any
