1. Explain the scope of Environmental studies.
What is an ecosystem? Explain the structures and functions of ecosystem.
2. Discuss how an environmental study is a multidisciplinary subject?
What are the impacts of deforestation on environment? How to overcome them.
UNIT II
3. Analyze the serious ecological problems created by hydroelectric power generation with examples.
Explain the applications of Solar energy and photovoltaic energy.
4. Explain the role of an individual in conservation of natural resources.
Write a detailed note on effects of dams on forests and tribal people.
UNIT III
5. Describe in situ and ex- situ conservation? Explain them briefly.
Write a short note on conservation of biodiversity in India.
6. Define Biogeography. What are Endemic and Endangered species?
What is Biodiversity? Give its significance. What are the three types of biodiversity? Explain
them.

7. Discuss the causes, effects and control on noise pollution.
Define e-waste. Discuss how e-waste can be managed to prevent environmental pollution.
8. Explain the methods of disposal of municipal solid waste.
Write a short note on Global warming and ozone depletion.
