3. Two treatment A and B were tried to control a certain type of plant diseases following
result were obtained.
A 240 plant were examined 48 were found infected
B 240 plant were examined 12 were found infected
Is treatment B superior to treatment A. The table value of x2 for one degree of freedom at
level of significance is 3.841.

A sample analysis of examination result of 200 MBA was made. It was found that 46
students had failed, 68 secured a third division, 62 secured a second division rest were
place in first division. Are these figures commensurate with general examination result
