1. What are permissible impurities in pharmaceutical substances? What do
you understand by limit test? List out the certain tests which are
performed for the test of purity.
2. Write a short note on GI disturbances. Write the role of acidifiers and
antacid in treatment of GI disorders.
3. Write the difference between Emollients and Astringents. Explain the
mechanism of action of antimicrobial agents by oxidation method.
4. Write the formula, synonyms and uses of the following compounds (any

body. 5
8. Write the classification of expectorants with example. What are emetics?
Name the inorganic compounds that are used in emetics.
9. What are Anti-caries agents? Write short notes on Cements and Fillers.
