1. Explain the fundamental factors for selection of the location of
pharmaceutical industry. 5
2. What are the different ferrous metals used for making pharmaceutical

3. Differentiate between heat exchanger and heat interchanger with
examples. 2
Calculate the amount of heat that will flow through a sheet of steel
10 m in thickness, 0·6 m wide and 1 m long in 30 minutes with a
temperature of 70 °C on one side and 30 °C on the other side. Assume
the thermal conductivity of water as 43 W/m.K. 2
Define blackbody. Write the equation of Stefan-Boltzmann for heat
