Note Question No. 1 is compulsory.
Solve any two questions from 4 and any two from 7.
All questions carry equal marks. (14 marks)
1. Draw flowchart for compute a Bill based on items purchased at a store. The
program should compute item amounts and total bill amount based on qty. of
items purchased and rate of item per unit of measurement. The system should
ask for additional items purchased and should repeat unless the user enters
for additional items purchased. The result should display No. of items purchased,
quantity of each item, amount for each item and total bill amount. 14
2. Answer any two of the following 14
Discuss logical operators in programming.
Differentiate between BREAK and CONTINUE statements during loop
execution.
Discuss the use of GOAL SEEK feature in Excel.
3. Write short notes on any two of the following 14
Differentiate between IF-ELSE and SWITCH-CASE constructs.
Arrays.
Subtotal feature in Excel.
4. Answer in brief on any two of the following 14
Explain difference between Local and Global variables.
Differentiate between Structured and Object Oriented Programming.
Define function. Discuss the purpose of function and use of RETURN statement
in a function.
5. Discuss various data types and their usage in programming. Also define ASCII
code and its significance in computer programming. 14
6. What is Object Oriented Programming Discuss the basic features of Object
Oriented Programming. 14
7. Write a program to compute factorial of a number passed as parameter to a
recursive function. 14
