Write a note on chemical subtypes of Ca-channel antagonists.
Give a brief account with examples of drug design based on antagonism.
Write a note on design of cholesterol lowering drugs on the basis of biochemical and physiological information.
Explain with examples the concept of isosterism and bioisosterism.
B. Answer all (2×20=40)
Give a detailed account of possible therapeutic targets and development of antineoplastic and antimicrobial drugs.
Describe the various approaches employed for molecular modelling. Give applications of different classes of enzyme inhibitors in drug design.
