PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS-III

Time Three Hours Maximum Marks 60
N.B. All questions are compulsory.

(iii Neat diagram must be drawn wherever necessary.

Section I
1. State Beer Lambert's Law. Draw a neat diagram of double beam
UV spectrophotometer and explain functioning of each part.
Or
Explain theory of UV-Visible spectrophotometry. Discuss in detail
various transitions of outermost electrons in molecule.
2. Attempt any four of the following
Explain concept of photometry measurement.
Discuss two radiation sources used in UV-Visible Spectroscopy.
Discuss electromagnetic radiations.
Explain Bathochromic shift and Hypsochromic shift.
