Section-A
1. Short answer questions. (All the five questions are compulsory) [5x5=25]
a. Visibility of speech sounds
b. Indian sign language
c. Speech tracking during speech reading
d. Auditory verbal therapy
e. Assistive listening devices
2. Attempt any one. Both questions carry equal marks. [15]
a. Discuss various factors influencing the speech reading abilities of a hearing impaired individual.
OR
b. Discuss the role of audition in speech and language development of normal hearing children.
