Section-A

1. Write about the following. (All the five questions are compulsory) [5x5=25]

a. Enumerate various airway protection devices
b. Describe clinical manifestations and immediate management of tension pneumothorax
c. How will you ensure safe transfer of patient with fracture of femur?
d. Causes of sudden, serve chest pain
e. Describe correct method of chest compression during CPR

2. Attempt any one. Both questions carry equal marks.

a. What is secondary survey? Describe its use in a patient with multiple injuries. [15]

b. Write about clinical features, complications and management of patient with COPD. Mention about use of oxygen theory mechanical ventilation. [15]

a. What are the causes of sudden onset breathlessness? Describe the assessment and management of ARDS. [15]
