Section-A

1. Write about the following. (All the five questions are compulsory) [5x5=25]

a. Care and complications of CVP line
b. Triple manouvre to maintain airway
c. Precaution and complication of urinary bladder catheterization
d. Indications of intercostals tube insertion
e. First and to snake bite victim
2. Attempt any one. Both questions carry equal marks.

a. Discuss initial on site assessment, basic medical care and transportation of trauma victims for advanced medical treatment. [15]

OR

b. You come across a patient of poisoning. Discuss what all you can do till the patient is shifted to an advanced health care centre. [15]

a. First aid to patient in respiratory distress
b. Indications and technique of starting intravenous line
c. Laryngeal Mask Airway
d. Automated External Defibrillator
e. Indications and complications of intra arterial line insertion

4. Attempt any one. Both questions carry equal marks.

a. A female goes into labour while travelling in train. Discuss birth assistance you can provide as an emergency responder. [15]
OR

b. Discuss resuscitation of a patient in haemorrhagic shock.
