1. Explain the concept of point groups and space groups.
2. Explain the basic principle and applications of electron diffraction.
3. Explain the hyperfine interactions in ESR.
4. What do you mean by recoilless emission and absorption? explain.
5. Explain the nuclear spin and magnetic moment in NMR.
6. Write a note on pulse RF detection.
7. Briefly give the applications of photo acoustic spectroscopy.
8. Explain what type of information you may get from the SEM.

9. Define reciprocal lattice and Describe the Laue diffraction method in the
determination of crystal structure.
