1. Write critical comment on any four of the following I not more than 150 words in each part.

Nutrient deficiency and soil sickness

Rotation intensity and cropping intensity
2. Define alleolpathy; discuss its role in crop production.
3. What is organic farming? Discuss its scope and limitations in Indian agriculture.
4. Write short note on the following:
Plant ecology
Symbiosis and synergisticity
Patterning of vegetation in forest
Land equivalent ratio (L.E. R.)

5. Differentiate between any four of the following:
Dry land and rainfed farming.
Farm management and management of farm.
Types and systems of farming
Result and method demonstration.
Successful operation of Farm business.
6. What do you understand by marginal and small farmers? What problems are coming in the way of adoption of modern technology? Discuss the relevant technology available in agriculture for such a large category of farmers in India.
7. Define front line demonstration. Discuss the scope and limitations of different media of transfer of agriculture technology to farmers in India.
8. Write short note on the following:
Precision agriculture
Sustainable agriculture
Integrated weed management( I.W.M)
