Question Paper
1. Consider Y [Yl Y2 Y3] having N3 where
u 2
4 and E 9 0 2
1 0 4 0
2 0 6
Write a program in language to find the marginal distribution of yl, y2 and Y3. Also, extend this program to find the conditional distribution of yl, given y2 and y3.
2. Write a program in language that checks whether a quadratic form in three variables is positive definite or not. It should do the following:
Read the coefficients of the quadratic form.
Print the matrix corresponding to the quadratic form.
Check whether the quadratic form is positive definite or not and print the result.
