1. Highlight the major issues in land reforms in India.
OR
Discuss the initiatives to change land tenure and agrarian structure in Independent India.
2. Explain the various initiatives by Non -Government organisations in land reforms in India.
OR
Describe the contributions of land reforms in poverty alleviation and economic equality.
3. Answer any two of the following questions in about 400 words each Explain in brief the impact of British rule in Northern and Central India on land tenure system. Describe the initiatives for mitigating the problems of exploitative land tenure system in Independent India. Critically evaluate the land reforms in India.
