3. Discuss the agrarian expansion in Peninsular India from the earliest times to the 10th century AD.
4. Write a descriptive note on the historical patterns of Energy Consumption.
5. Describe the importance of water conservation practices in the Indian subcontinent.

7. Analyse the 'Environmental Discourse on Industrialism.'
8. Critically evaluate the similarities and differences between forest policies of colonial and postcolonial era.

10. Write short notes on any two of the following in about 250 words each: 10+10
