1. Discuss in brief the features of good governance. Do you think that existing institutional structures in India have not led to good governance outcome? Give reasons in support of your answer.
2. Monetary policy cannot be framed independently of the fiscal policy, because there may be inherent conflicts in two sets of policy. In the light of this statement,
Discuss in brief the transmission mechanism of monetary policy and fiscal policy.
identify the areas of policy-conflict.
3. Allocation of land, minerals, gas and spectrum etc. is emerging as a serious issue of debate in Indian economic policy. Review the essential features of the government policy in this context.
4. In wake of global crisis, India's external sector is increasingly been encircled by protectionist policies being practised by the developed countries. What should be India's policy to meet this challenge
