1. Prepare sheets for inspection to check the full shoe at final stage of production prior to packing. Give proper justification of criteria for inspection considered by you. 10

2. "Production Methods and Management Policies are the two different factors having significant influence on the selection of Production Planning and Control system, but both are essential." Comment. 10

3. Write the names and functions of different types of machines and tools used in the testing department of a footwear company. 10

4. Enlist different material handling equipments in a footwear manufacturing factory. Draw neat sketches of any two. 10

5. Differentiate between Material Requirement Planning and Just-in-Time (JIT). Discuss how MRP and JIT can be collectively used in a production system. 10

6. Write down the sequence to construct 'Route Sheet'. What necessary information is required to prepare a Route Sheet? 10

7. Define the term productivity. How is it different from production Give suitable examples to justify your answer. 10

8. A footwear company is producing a certain type of kid's shoe. The fixed cost of land, building, etc. is Rs. 40,000. The variable cost is Rs. 10 per unit production. If the sale price of the product is Rs. 20 per unit, what should be the minimum production level If the firm is operating at the rate of production of 8000 units/year, what is the firm's profit/year? 10
