Question Paper
1. You have been asked to prepare a review paper on Public Health Care in our Country. Your paper should highlight the different levels at which it is available to the community and also its essential components. (Limit the paper to about 500 words)
2. Write a 500 word article on "Food and Nutrition Security" explaining the concept and its determinants.
3. As a food service manager you are concerned with the health of the workers. What are the common micronutrient deficiency disorders likely to effect workers (men and women) in the unit? List the manifestations, causes and preventive strategy you would adopt (for any two deficiency disorder) if your workers were found to be affected.
4. As part of the medical check up for employees the food company has organized a health camp. What are the methods likely to be used for assessment of nutritional status of the workers? Describe each method giving appropriate examples.
Recently the Government of India has taken initiatives to improve urban and rural sanitation. Describe in about 300-400 words this initiative as well as earlier success stories/initiatives to improve water and sanitation in our country.
"Food safety is a major concern among street foods, restaurants, hotels etc." Why Enumerate the strategies which can be adopted to ensure food safety among street foods and other food service units.

Components of communication process.
Designing an effective training programme for workers in a food service unit.
Use of social marketing approach to promote positive nutrition and health behaviour.
