Initial appointment will be for a period of one year which will be extended depending upon performance of the candidate.

Job Description

1. Collection and transport of specimens from operation

theatre.

2. Retrieval of specimens from freezers following

stringently the instructions and quality control.

3. Separation and aliquoting of the tissue/fluids, assist in

labeling, storage and assist in data entry.

4. Stringent maintenance of freezer log & bring to

attention of the incharge any deviation in temperature

so that repair work can be taken up immediately.

5. Waste disposal as per the guidelines and ensure lifting

of the material by the waste disposal staff.

6. Assist in procurement and transport of the

stationery/computer related materials/glass-plastic

ware/chemicals and transport to brain Bank.

7. Delivery of the material to the lab keeping the safety

and scientific requirements as advised by the officer in

charge.

8. Maintenance of equipment/instruments and bring to

the attention of officer in charge any disposal/

replacement needed in co-ordination with

Jr.Technician.

9. Maintenance of cleanliness of the Brain Bank.

10.Any other job assigned by the officer in charge.
