Sub:- Filling up of one post of Marketing Assistant in NIFPHATT reg

Applications are invited to fill up one post of Marketing Assistant (GCS Group B Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/- in the National Institute of Fisheries Post Harvest Technology and Training, Cochin 16 which is a subordinate office under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries. The post is to be filled up by Deputation(Including Short Term Contract) from:

Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or recognized Research Institutions or Semi-government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations :-

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular

basis in the Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800 ) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits i.e

Essential:

(i) Bachelor degree in Zoology or Fishery Science or Home Science or Industrial Fisheries from a recognized University or Institute

(ii) Two years experience in marketing of fish handling or marine fisheries from a recognized fish processing and marketing concern or a Central or State Government organization or undertaking.

Desirable:

Diploma in Marketing Management from a recognized Institution

The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organizations/department of the Central Government shall not exceed 3 years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

For the purpose of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to 1st January, 2006, the date from which the revised pay structure based on the Sixth Central Pay Commission has been extended, shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the said Pay Commission except where there has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay or pay scale, and where this benefit will extend only for the post for which that grade pay or pay scale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.

The applications in the enclosed proforma from suitable and willing officials alongwith their complete and up-to-date CR dossiers (last 5 years) may be forwarded to the undersigned by name within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News. While forwarding the application the Controlling Authority would verify and certify that the particulars furnished by the applicant are correct and no vigilance cases are pending or contemplated against the officials. In the event of selection, the candidate will not be allowed to withdraw his candidature.

Applications received without up-to-date CR Dossiers or after due date or found incomplete in any other manner will not be considered.
