Applications in the prescribed forms are invited from qualified candidates of Indian nationality for the Non-Teaching post in the University for Local Cadre of Hyderabad-Karnataka region pertaining to Karnataka State only. A set of four (4) prescribed application forms can be had from the Director, Prasaranga, Karnatak University, Dharwad-03 in person on presentation of Bank challan/online paid receipt for having credited in the State Bank of India/ Syndicate Bank, Karnatak University Campus, Dharwad or by post duly sending a self-addressed stamped envelope (28 x 12 cms) duly affixing Rs. 50/-postal stamp along with a fee for Rs. 200/-(For SC/ST/Cat-I/Physcially disabled) and Rs. 400/-(For GM and others) payable at K.U. Campus, Dharwad. The prescribed fees for application form can be paid online through State Bank of India/ Syndicate Bank gateway in the University website www.kud.ac.in.

The filled-in applications together with necessary documents and challan/ a crossed D.D. of Rs. 400/-(For SC/ST/Cat-I/Physically disabled) and Rs. 800/-(For GM and others) as processing fees drawn in favor of the FINANCE OFFICER, KARNATAK UNIVERSITY, DHARWAD payable at K.U. Campus, Dharwad/online paid receipt should reach the REGISTRAR, KARNATAK UNIVERSITY, DHARWAD-580003, on or before 30/11/2017 by Registered Post with Acknowledgement (RPAD). Candidates may also submit their applications in person in the Inward Section and obtain acknowledgement. The applications without the payment of processing fees will not be considered.

2) NURSE-01 POST:

  2. Must possess a certificate in General Nursing awarded by an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

3) SR.TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (STATISTICS)

in maintenance of statistical instruments.

MODE OF SELECTION:

The list of selected candidates will be prepared as per the following Government of Karnataka Notifications and as per Karnatak University Staff Recruitment Statute:

RURAL CANDIDATE:

Candidates claiming reservation under rural category should have studied and passed from 1st to 10th STD in rural areas governed by prevailing rules relating to reservations and shall produce a certificate in Form No. 2 issued by the competent authorities.

PHYSICALLY DISABLED:

Candidates claiming reservation under Physically Disabled should submit the Certificate from District Surgeon.

OTHER CONDITIONS:
  1. Candidate must possess the required qualification/s before the last date prescribed for the receipt of application.

  2. The relevant documents (such as SSLC or Date of Birth Certificate) in support of date of birth must be enclosed.

  3. Latest Caste Certificate showing in D form issued by Tahashildar.

  4. Appointment to the posts may be permanent depending upon nature of the vacancy and the requirement of the University. In such case, they will be on probation for a period of two years according to the rules of the University.

    1. Candidates selected for the above said posts are liable to be posted to work either at Dharwad or at any of the P.G. Departments at Karwar/ Gadag/ Haveri or any other Post-Graduate Department/ Centre established in future, though the posts are shown as existing at a particular place at the time of advertisement or may be posted to any

  5. Candidates who are in service shall send their applications through their employer mentioning all the service details in the covering letter by the employer so as to reach the undersigned on or before the last date prescribed, failing which their applications will not be considered.

  6. The copies of the publications and attested true copies of Testimonials/ Certificates/ Caste Certificates/ Statement of Marks/ Service Certificate should be enclosed to all the eight sets, which will not be returned.

  7. The application and processing fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

  8. Separate applications are to be sent for each post by clearly mentioning the name of the post.

  9. All belated, incomplete and not in the prescribed applications form in four sets and without payment of processing fees and without the downloading fees (in case of the downloaded application forms) will be rejected, and no further correspondence will be entertained in the matter. The University is not responsible for the transit delay.

  10. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidate.

  11. The right either to fill or not to fill the above posts advertised is reserved with the University.

  12. The appointments will be made, as per the rules in force.

  13. The right to select or disqualify the candidates is reserved with the University. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

  14. As per the directions issued by the Department of Higher Education (Universities), Govt. of Karnataka, Bengaluru vide letter No. ED 165 UKV 2016 dated 31.01.2017, the candidates who have been appointed prior to 01.04.2006 and presently covered under Old Pension Scheme, if got appointed will be covered under New Defined Pension Scheme.

  15. Candidates who do not fit in the requirement of the post need not apply.
