Interested candidates are invited alongwith Applications as per Format available on ICMR website (www.icmr.nic.in) to attend Walk-in-Interview on 28.1.2016 (Thursday) at 11.30 A.M. (late comer candidates after 11.00 A.M. will not be entertained) to fill up two posts of Physician-Scientist B(Medical) and one post of Dental-Scientist-B on contract basis for six months on a consolidated salary of Rs.55,913/-p.m. at the Institute of Cytology & Preventive Oncology, Noida.

Post No.1 Physician-Scientist-B -(Two posts)

INSTITUTE OF CYTOLOGY & PREVENTIVE ONCOLOGY (ICMR) Plot No.I-7, Sector-39, Noida (U.P.)-201301

Applications are invited up to 10.3.2016 for one post of Scientist D (Community Medicine) at the Institute of Cytology & Preventive Oncology, Noida in the Pay Band PB-3 of Rs.1560039100 + Grade Pay Rs.7600 and usual allowances as admissible as per Government norms.

Desirable Qualification:

(i)

Doctorate in Community Medicine from a recognized university.

(ii)

Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience from recognized institute(s).

(iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Job Requirements:

The candidate should be able to provide good leadership in planning and carrying out research in the field of cancer prevention with emphasis on cytopathological, molecular and epidemiological aspects of different types of cancers chosen by the Institute as a priority. He/She should be able to carry out various teaching & training programmes in the field of Community Medicine/PSM/Epidemiology.

2. Benefits of new restructured defined contributory Pension system are admissible as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division), Notification No.5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22/12/2003 effective from 01/01/2004.
   
   
3. Private practice is not allowed. However, non-practising allowance is admissible to medical graduates only as per rules.
   
   
4. Applications from employees working in Central/State Govt. Departments, Public Sector Undertakings and Government funded research agencies must be forwarded through proper channel. Advance copies of application will be considered subject to the conditions that a No Objection Certificate from the employer is produced at the time of personal discussion.

3. Unsigned/incomplete application or application without supportive evidence asked for/without postal order/application received late are liable to summarily rejected.
   
   

NOTE: -1) MD/MS/Ph.D. in relevant subject shall be treated equivalent to three years experience. 2) Candidate with M.D./Ph.D. degree will be preferred for direct recruitment. 3) If no suitable candidate found for Sc.D. Post, the post can be filled up at one level below i.e. Scientist-C. 4) Since it is not possible to call all the eligible candidates for the interview / personal discussion, the applicants will be short-listed for this purpose.
