WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

One post of Junior Medical Officer for each of the following 2 projects mentioned below, implemented by this Institute is to be filled through walk-in-interview, purely on temporary basis from willing candidates

Name of the Project:

1. An Open-label, Non-randomized, Single arm, Phase 3 Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of a Combination regimen of Bedaquiline, Delamanid, Linezolid and Clofazimine in Patients with Multi-drug Resistant (MDR) and Extensively Drug-resistant Pulmonary TB (XDR TB).

2. Phase 1lb open label, parallel randomized controlled clinical trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability, Pharmacokinetics and anti-bacterial activity of high dose rifampicin versus conventional dose of Rifampicin along with standard antitubercular therapy (ATT) in drug sensitive adult patients of pulmonary tuberculosis (HICON-R).

Interested candidates fulfilling the required qualification may download the prescribed application form from the website www.nirt.res.in and walk-in on Monday, the 4^th December 2017 between 9.00 AM and 11.00 AM at National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, 1 Mayor Sathyamoorthy Road, Chetpet, Chennai 600 031, to attend the walk-in-interview along with original certificate for age, academic qualification from Matriculation onwards and proof for certificates of experience, caste certificate etc with a colour passport size photograph along with attested copies of relevant certificates and a fee of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai by way of Demand Draft from any Nationalized banks. SC/ST, physically disabled candidates and women candidates, are exempted from payment of fees, subject to production of valid certificate.
