Sub: Engagement of Medical Officer in SRU Bhilai on contract

SAIL Refractory Unit Bhilai intends to engage doctor for the post of Medical officer to man the medical post at SRU Bhilai on contractual basis. The details of the same are as given below

MBBS (Diploma in industrial health or Certificate of Training in industrial health is desirable)

Upper Age Limit

70 years as on date of interview. Retired doctors can also apply.

4.

Working Hours

8 hours a day as per the dispensary timings (with one day off per week). Pro-rata payment in case of less hours.

5.

Duration of

engagement

Initially six months from date of actual joining, However, the duration may be extended further at the discretion of Management and subject to satisfactory work by the candidate.

6.

Remuneration

Consolidated payment of Rs. 40,000/- (all inclusive) per month will be paid for full attendance. No other payment / allowance is admissible.

Selection

Procedure

Selection of the candidates for contractual engagement as Medical officer will be done through a walk-in interview.

Interested & eligible candidates having the requisite qualification can walk-in for selection interview at a scheduled date & time at GM Office of SRU Bhilai. They are required to download the application form (Annexure- II) from www.sail.co.in and submit the same duly filled-in along with the supporting documents at the time of Walk-In interview.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as specified above, may attend walk-in-interview on the above date, time & venue with the following certificates/documents in original along with self-attested photocopies of the certificates/documents.

a. Filled-in application format with a recent passport size color photograph.

b. All educational certificates and mark sheets from Class X onwards

c. Valid Registration Certificate issued by any State Medical Council.

d. Photo Identity Proof (Voter ID/PAN Card/Aadhar Card/ Driving License/Passport)

Other Terms and Conditions:

1. The engagement is purely on contractual basis and is not to be construed as giving rise to any right of

regular appointment in SRU Bhilai in any manner whatsoever.

2. SRU reserves the sole authority to consider the cases as per its rules and decision of SRU Bhilai in this regard shall be firm& binding.

3. SRU Bhilai reserves the right to reject any application OR cancel the candidature OR the whole process of test/interview, without assigning any reason thereof and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection. The decision of the Selection Committee constituted by SRU Bhilai for this purpose shall be final and binding.

4. Candidature of an applicant is liable to be rejected at any stage of the selection process or after selection, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is found not to be in conformity with requisite eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.

5. Engagement can be terminated by the company at its discretion without assigning any reason. Absence on any account without prior intimation will be treated as indiscipline and can lead to disciplinary action, including termination of contract..

6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-interview.

7. Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Durg, Chhattisgarh.
