NOTIFICATION No.B2/2913/13 Dated : 24/10/2017

I. Applications are invited from qualified hands for appointment to the following post in the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram. The name of the post, their scale of pay, probable number of vacancies and required qualifications shall be as provided against each category.

II. General conditions regarding submission of applications 1) Application shall be submitted online to the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram in the prescribed format provided in the website of LBS Centre for Science and Technology (www.lbscentre.org/www.lbskerala.com). 2) The printout of the application submitted online, duly signed by the candidate and complete in all respects, shall be submitted to the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram-695033 on or before the last date, as proof of having made the application. On the top of the cover write as 'Application for the Post of Civil Engineer'. A copy of the same may be retained by the candidate for future reference. Note : The Registration ID Obtained after submitting the online application through the website shall be quoted for all future correspondence/enquiries. 3) The printout of the application submitted vide pre paragraph shall be accompanied by an application fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology from any nationalized bank payable at Thiruvananthapuram. 4) The application fee shall be Rs.500/-for General candidates and Rs.250/-for candidates belonging to SC/ST Communities. Note : The application fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstance.

5) Candidates employed in Central Government/State Government/Public Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies etc. shall submit a certificate (along with the printout of the application submitted) from the Head of the Institution stating that the candidate shall be relieved from the Institution if selected.

6) Candidates shall submit an undertaking in the prescribed format, while making the application to the effect that documents in original in proof of qualifications, experience, age, community shall be produced on demand as and when required.

7) Applications submitted (online printout) without fulfilling the above requirements shall be summarily rejected without further notice. 8) The last date and time of submitting application both online and printout shall be 30/11/2017 5 PM.

III. General conditions of Appointment 1) Candidates applying shall be within the age of 18 to 35 years as on 01/01/2017. 2) Candidates applying shall have attained the qualification/experience prescribed for the respective categories on or before the date of this notification.

IV Method of Selection Selection shall be made from the rank list prepared after conducting objective type test (OMR Valuation)/interview.

V Validity of Rank Lists Rank list shall be valid for a minimum period of 1 (one) year and maximum period of 3(three) years from the date of publication of the respective list.
