Walk-in or skype interview for the post of a Project Assistant in a research project funded by the Wellcome Trust/DBT intermediate fellowship
Title:Cloning, expression and purification of mammalian proteins involved in cell-adhesion
This project aims to clone, express and purify long-chain molecules involved in cell-adhesion for structural and biophysical studies

Positions:One
Duration:One year and extendable up to 2 years upon evaluation. Candidates may need to travel to Germany for using Synchrotron facilities.
Emoluments:As per IISER Mohali
Essential Qualifications:
The applicants should hold a master degree in Biological /Physical Sciences/Bioengineering/Biotechnology, and have a strong training in cloning, protein expression, and purification. Additional weightage will be given to candidates having expertise on protein expression in mammalian/ insect cell-lines and functionality studies. Expertise in FPLC, GEL-electrophoresis, CD are highly desirable.
