Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post:-

1) Exhibition Assistant A (Sculpture) : 01 post Reserved for Scheduled Tribe only

Pay Matrix Level - 5: `.29,200-92,300/- Basic Pay `.29,200/- plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees. Total emoluments as on date `.41,448/- per month at metropolitan cities.

Essential Qualification & Experience Degree (BVA or equivalent) in Commercial Art/Fine Art of 4/5 years duration with one year relevant experiences in sculpture and having knowledge of clay modelling, moulding and fibre glass casting work with documentary proof.

Desirable Working knowledge of Computer Graphic software (CorelDraw, Photoshop, Flash, etc).

Job requirement Preparation of art layout, making of models, dioramas; helping Exhibition Officer in display work.

Age limit - 40 years as on 01st November, 2017. Relaxable for PWD/Ex-Serviceman as per Government of India rules.

Application may also be submitted in person at BITM, Kolkata. The application, in the prescribed format as available in this website, should be submitted along with self attested copies of all certificates and testimonials right from Secondary education (10th standard) or its equivalent.

1. Application must be submitted in the prescribed format only and not on plain paper.

2. The last date of submission of duly completed application along with self attested copies of all relevant Certificates and testimonials is 16th December, 2017.

3. The candidates already working in Government, Semi-Government, Public Sector Undertaking and autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel. The selected employee will be governed by the New Pension Scheme of Govt. of India and will be provided facilities like Medical, LTC etc as per NCSM Rules.

4. The selected candidate is liable to be transferred to any science museums/centres under the control of National Council of Science Museums, anywhere in India.

5. Outstation ST candidates called for Aptitude/Trade Test for the post of Exhibition Assistant A (Sculpture) will be paid single 2nd class railway/bus fare (both ways) by the shortest route on production of proof of travel as per Govt. of India rules.
