The recruitment will initially be for a period of eleven months which shall be extended subject to following conditions:-

1.sati sfactory performance

2.continued requirement of the position, and

3.Abaival ity of fund and approval of the position by Government of India in PIP of National Health Mission.

Note:- Maximum age for retired person from the post of Nursing/Sister Tutor- 65 Years as on 01.04.2017

Qualification:

  • M.Sc. Nursing ; or

  • B.Sc. Nursing (Basic); or

  • B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) after completing G.N.M . (Grade 'A' Nurse) course having a minimum of three years professional work-experienceas Grade 'A' Nurse (G.N.M) in a hospital recognized by the Govt./MCI/NCI recognized Institutions; or

  • D.N.E.A. (Diploma in Nursing Education & Administration) [aft er completing G.N.M . (Grade 'A' Nurse) course] having a minimum of two years professional work-experience as Grade 'A' Nurse (G.N.M .) in a hospital recognized by the MCI/NCI recognized Institutions.

    Other Information/Requirements/Conditions

    Purpose of Assignment:

    The tutor at the ANM Training Center/GNM Training Centre would function as a full time faculty of the institution leading and assisting the principal in planning, implementing evaluating the ANM/GNM educational programs in the School. The tutor will train the ANM/GNM student s as per the syllabu s of the Indian Nursing Council and the latest RMNCH protocol s of the MOHFW, Gol. This position requires nursing -midwife ry education, experience and technical expert ise in SBA, FP and/or Newborn and Child Health, coordination skills and ability to develop positive, professional working relationships with various counterparts.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    The primary duties and responsibilities of Nursing Tutor will include the following but not be restricted to:

    Academic:

  • Train the ANM/GNM students in nursing and midwifery courses as per the latest INC syllabus, Government of India protocols for Reproduct ive, maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH).

  • Coordinate with Principal in planning, implementation and evaluation of the educational programs.

  • Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of staff and student welfare programs.

  • Function as the class coordinator for a particular group of students during the academic year.

  • Develop master rotation plan, clinical rotation plan and time table for the smoothing coordination and conduction of the course components.

  • Participate in staff development programs.

  • Participate in teaching in various educational programs.

  • Preparing teaching materials.

  • Arrange for external lectures.

  • Participate in clinical teaching.

  • Conduct evaluation of the student's progress as per the norms of the statutory body.

  • Is available for consultation with the Principal for day-to-day academic activities.

  • Conducting, constructing and evaluating the tests, assignments and final examinations.

  • Helping students in extracurricular activities.

  • Maintenance of class room and laboratory equipments, supplies and teaching aids.

  • Maintain all student's records including cumulative record, practical record, health record etc.

  • Facilitate the quality improvement process in the ANMTC/GNMTC by implementing the performance standards.

  • Share responsibility with Principal in supe rvision of students.

  • Prepare the academic calendar under the guidance of the principal.

  • Participate in orientation programs for new students.

  • Provide academic guidance to the students.

  • Write student's performance report as assigned by Principal and reviews evaluation report of the assigned students.

  • Coordinate with Medical Officer and hospital staff in the preparation of clinical rotation plans and clinical area postings for the st udents.

  • Supervise and guide the students during clinical practice. -

  • Facilitate functioning of School Library in coordination with Senior Librarian. Human Relations:

  • Share responsibility with Principal and Vice-Principal in identifying conflicts among st uden t and staff members and initiate solutio n, consult and inform when necessary.

  • Share responsibility with Principal and Vice-Principal in informing parents about student' s progress, problems etc.

  • Facilitate guidance and counseling to student's as per need.

Supervisory:

Remuneration/Compensation:

Consolidated remuneration @ Rs 30,000-/ per month.

Agreement:

Selected candidate will have to sign a contractual agreement with SHS/ DHS.
