Eligible candidates are invited to attend the

for the following Contractual positions mentioned below under the project of Pest dynamics in relation climate change under National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)at ICAR-NCIPM, LBS, Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi -110012.

Essential Qualifications

Research Associate; Two Positions:

Up to 31st March 2017

(i) Ph.D. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Statistics/Agricultural Statistics/ Agricultural Meteorology

OR

(ii) Post graduation in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Statistics/Agricultural Statistics/ Agricultural Meteorology with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/other engagements

OR

(iii) 3 years Bachelor's degree with 3 years professional

Master's degree like M.Sc (Ag.), MCA &M Tech etc., equivalent qualifications & having 1st division or60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average& with at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/other engagements

OR

(iv) Candidates having Masters degree in Basic

Sciences (above relevant subjects)and have qualified NET and have at least 02 years research experience as

evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/

other engagements

Experience in data organization, and proficiency in use of statistical softwares.

Working knowledge of design and development of database and applications using Microsoft SQL Server ASP.NET Technologies

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) One Position:

Up to 31st March 2017

Masters in Agricultural Entomology/ Zoology with specialisation in Entomology/ Agricultural Statistics/ Computer Application with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having Master degree in Basic Sciences (above relevant subjects) with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification

Proficiency in data organization/report writing/ handling statistical software packages& interpretation

Emoluments:

Emoluments: For RA with Ph.D (i): Rs. 40,000/month + 30%HRA; RA with Master Degree Holders (ii): Rs.38000/=+ 30% HRA; For SRF: Rs. 25,000/month + 30%HRA

Terms and Conditions:

1. Age limit (as on 01.05.2016):

Age limit for Research Associate is 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women.

Age limit for Senior Research Associate is 35 for Men and 40 years for Women.

2.The age is relax able for SC/ST and OBC candidates for both RAs & SRFs, is applicable as per

ICAR/Govt. of India norms.

3. The above positions will be filled up on contractual basis and are up to 31.03.2017 or co terminus with the project. The renewal of yearly contract is subjected to satisfactory performance/sanction

obtain from the funding agency. The selected candidate(s) have no claim for regular appointment(s) after expiry of the Project at NCIPM/ICAR.

4. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5. Candidates appearing for interview should compulsorily bring filled in application as per format annexed. Original Certificates of age proof, educational qualifications (from 10th class onwards), and documents in support of essential, and desirable qualifications / experience along with a set of self-attested photocopies along with the recent passport sized photograph should be brought.

6. Interview of the eligible candidates would be held at the premises of NCIPM on 4TH MAY 2016 at 10.00AM.

7. Candidate fulfilling the essential qualifications only need to attend the Walk in Interview.

8. Concealing of facts and canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification
