The CSIR-NGRI, Hyderabad desires to fill up the following temporary positions of Project staff against various projects viz., 12th Five Year Plan, Grant-in-Aid, Sponsored Projects, In-house projects etc.:

7	Project Assistant Level-II /III	Masters in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biogeochemistry /Environmental Microbiology with 1st Class or 60% of marks	1	Microbiological analysis of soil and water samples from biogeophysical laboratory and field experiments-Enumeraroin (MPN TEST), biochemical analysis and separation of microbial communities.
8	Project Assistant Level-II	B. Tech (CSE/IT) with 1st Class or 60% of marks	2	IT related activities under the Project.

Remuneration : Rs. 13,000/- pm (for PAL-II), Rs. 15,000/- pm (for PAL-III).

Note: Those who are having M. Sc. (Tech) / M. Tech Qualification are eligible for PAL- III Position.

Upper age limit as on date of Walk-in-Interview : 28 years (for PAL-II), 32 years (for PAL-III).

Terms & Conditions:

1. Age relaxation: 5 years in case of SC/ST and women candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates and 10 years in case of persons with Disabilities (PWD).

Registration:

Candidates appearing for Walk-in-Interview against all the above Post Codes are required to register on-line (For details, please visit CSIR-NGRI website) The candidates who appeared for their final year examination and whose results are awaited may also register on-line. The online registration will open at 9:30 AM on 01.06.2016 and will close at 6:00 PM on 12.06.2016.

Note: Candidates are required to register online only.

4. Candidates who fulfill the above conditions may appear for Walk-in-Interview along with originals and one set of Certificates of educational qualification, age, caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates), one recent passport size photo etc. on the date(s) and time as mentioned above at CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Uppal Road, Hyderabad500007.

5. If the candidates turned up for Walk-in-Interview is very high, then the Candidates will be short listed through written test. Therefore, candidates are advised to plan their itinerary and arrange own accommodation in such a way that they should be able to be present for interview during the very next day of the scheduled date of interview also, in case need arises for so.

6. The number and levels of positions may vary at the time of Interview. The assignment is for the time-bound sponsored projects works and co-terminus with the projects. It is not a regular appointment, temporary or otherwise and therefore does not entitle the incumbent(s) any claim, implicit or explicit on any CSIR/NGRI post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
