Subject: Engagement of Technical Support Consultant on Contractual basis for PH (IH) Section, Directorate General of Health Services.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals in the prescribed format for engagement of Technical Support Consultant purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 3 months for handling augmented work in the PH(IH) Section, Directorate General of Health Services as per approval given by the EFC, on following terms and conditions:-

Technical Support Consultant 01 (Number of post)

(Public Health Specialist)

Remuneration to be paid Rs. 60,000/- per month (consolidated)

Qualifications required: MBBS. The post will be encadred under CHS at the level of ADG (IH) as Public health specialist an organized service. As such, the essential qualifications etc. shall be as prescribed in the RRs (to be elaborated) for the said service.

Job Description:

(i) Supervision/monitoring, of technical activities, preparing SOPs, Guidelines, developing training curriculum and materials, periodic review of technical activities and core capacities of existing as well as additional public health measures required to be undertaken during all times and during the time of public health emergencies of international concern as per IHR (2005), including Medical care of ill/suspect travellers during the events which have public health risk like yellow fever disease, SARS, Public health emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) like EBOLA, H1N1 etc.

(ii) Organization of training programs.

(iii) Planning and monitoring the logistics.

Maximum Age Limit:

45 years and 65 years in case of persons retired from Govt. service.

Terms and conditions:

(i) Application should be typed in A4 size paper

(ii) Attested copies of all testimonies must be attached.

(iv) No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the test and /interview.

(v) Apply within 30 days from the date of advertisement.
